Our Services

We believe healing is a form of architecture—building stronger minds, fuller hearts, and connected communities.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy is an approach to treatment that involves selecting techniques from different therapeutic orientations that are best suited to a client’s particular needs. Integrative therapists aim to achieve the most significant effects by tailoring therapy to the individual. This can also include psychoeducation on the impact of food, herbs, and nutrients on mood and behavior.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress resulting from disturbing life experiences.

EMDR therapy is an eight-phase treatment. Eye movements (or other forms of bilateral stimulation) are used during a specific part of the session. After you and your clinician have determined which memory to target first, they ask the client to hold different aspects of that event or thought in mind and to use their eyes to track the therapist’s hand as it moves back and forth across the client’s field of vision. As this happens, replicating the biological mechanisms involved in Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, internal associations arise, and the clients begin to process the memory and disturbing feelings. In successful EMDR therapy, the emotional meaning of painful events is transformed.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps individuals build psychological flexibility by teaching them to accept difficult emotions rather than avoid them. Through mindfulness practices and values-based goal setting, ACT supports clients in taking meaningful action—even in the presence of pain—while creating a life aligned with what truly matters to them.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. By learning to reframe negative thinking patterns, clients gain practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, and daily stressors while building healthier emotional and behavioral habits.

Nutritional Psychiatry

Nutritional psychiatry explores the powerful connection between diet and mental health. By focusing on how nutrients, gut health, and lifestyle impact mood, energy, and cognitive function, this approach utilizes food as a foundational tool for emotional wellness and mental clarity, often working in conjunction with traditional therapy for a more holistic healing experience.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is grounded in the concept that our past experiences, particularly those from childhood, shape our current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. This approach provides a comprehensive exploration of unconscious patterns, enabling clients to gain insight, resolve inner conflicts, and cultivate emotional growth through increased self-awareness.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)

REBT is a powerful, action-oriented approach that focuses on identifying irrational beliefs and replacing them with more balanced, rational thoughts. By challenging unhelpful ways of thinking, clients are empowered to develop greater emotional resilience and gain control over reactions that may be interfering with their well-being.

Written Exposure Therapy (WET)

Written Exposure Therapy is a brief, trauma-focused intervention designed to help individuals process distressing experiences through structured writing exercises. In a safe, supportive setting, clients use expressive writing to confront and reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories, often leading to symptom relief and greater emotional clarity.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)

Prolonged Exposure is a highly effective treatment for trauma and PTSD that helps individuals gradually face and process painful memories, rather than avoiding them. Through guided therapeutic exposure, clients learn to reduce fear and emotional reactivity, regain a sense of safety, and reclaim power over their lives.

Psilocybin-Assisted Services / Therapy

Psilocybin-assisted therapy is a guided therapeutic experience that uses the psychoactive properties of psilocybin to support deep emotional healing, insight, and transformation. In a safe, controlled setting with trained facilitators, individuals explore inner experiences that can unlock repressed emotions, reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma, and promote spiritual and psychological growth.

At The Healing Collective, psilocybin-assisted services are offered with cultural sensitivity and clinical care, particularly for Black and BIPOC individuals seeking healing from racialized trauma, disconnection, or spiritual fragmentation. Sessions are paired with preparation and integration support to help clients make meaning of their journey and apply insights to everyday life.

Retreats

The Healing Collective offers a range of transformative retreats throughout the year, each designed with a specific theme and purpose. These retreats often serve affinity groups and healing communities, including BIPOC wellness retreats, psychedelic therapy intensives, couples retreats, LGBTQI+ healing spaces, men’s support retreats, and more. Each experience is thoughtfully curated to foster deep connection, rest, and emotional renewal in a supportive, identity-affirming environment.

“We recognize the power of therapy and wellness to transform lives and uplift communities.”
