Meet Keinesha

Keinesha Jackson, LMSW

Keinesha is a licensed social worker with over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to adults, adolescents, families, and veterans. Her clinical strengths include trauma-informed care, grief, and anxiety, and she genuinely believes that every individual possesses the inner tools necessary for change. Known for her authentic warmth and ability to build trust quickly, Keinesha fosters a supportive therapeutic space where evidence-based practices are seamlessly integrated with intuitive connection.

Meet Dr. Dacosta

Nicole Dacosta ed.D, QMHP,

Nicole holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, which shape how she understands human behavior, change, and resilience. As a licensed social worker, she helps clients cultivate clarity and intention, especially when navigating complex life transitions or rebuilding a sense of internal stability. With over 15 years of experience in mental health services, including first-episode psychosis services and community-based support for youth and families, Nicole is passionate about helping people feel safe enough to show up fully and authentically. Grounded in motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care, she supports clients in exploring how past experiences influence present patterns and in strengthening natural supports that sustain healing. Nicole also oversees the mindfulness content in our mobile app, offering practical tools for regulation, grounding, and reflection.

Meet Jessica

Jessica Amaral, MSW

 Jessica has a Master of Social Work and specialized training in DBT, CBT, IFS, and trauma-informed care. She believes that each person’s healing journey is unique, and her work focuses on creating a safe, affirming, and empowering environment for clients to grow and reconnect with themselves. A former Marine, Jessica also serves as a certified nutritionist and personal trainer. She leads the Fitness & Nutrition program at The Healing Collective, where she provides individualized health coaching and manages wellness features within our mobile app, enhancing our mental health services.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Knight, LICSW

 Rebecca is a trauma-informed therapist who integrates evidence-based clinical approaches with a grounded, thoughtful focus on psychedelic integration. Her work centers on helping clients make meaning of non-ordinary experiences while supporting nervous system regulation, psychological safety, and long-term integration into daily life.

Rebecca draws from established, research-supported protocols and trauma-informed frameworks to support individuals navigating trauma, identity exploration, and healing after psychedelic or other transformative experiences. Her approach is collaborative, ethically grounded, and paced to honor each client’s readiness, resilience, and lived context. 

CHARLES BOWIE MA, MSW-INTERN

 Charles holds a master’s degree in Criminology and is currently an MSW candidate at Howard University. He brings over a decade of experience providing mental health services to youth, young adults, and families. His background includes mentorship, group facilitation, and supporting behavior change through structured, strengths-based approaches. Charles’ areas of focus encompass trauma-informed care, motivation for behavior change, behavior modification, problem-solving interventions, and client advocacy.

Mumbi is a trained life coach and organizational strategist. She brings executive-level experience in leadership, planning, and logistics to the wellness space and offers coaching that bridges the gap between personal insight and practical implementation. Mumbi’s work complements therapy by helping clients move with clarity, confidence, and purpose in their personal and professional lives.

Hamadi holds a master’s degree in neuroscience from Morehouse University and brings a strong research-informed lens to his work exploring the brain–body connection. He is a mindfulness coach and certified yoga instructor whose work centers on embodiment, nervous system regulation, and accessible wellness practices. Hamadi leads The Healing Collective’s free weekly summer yoga series, as well as community-based mindfulness and meditation sessions. His offerings are central to the Collective’s holistic approach to healing, supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, breath, and present-moment awareness as part of an integrated healing journey.

Flo is a certified Health and Wellness Coach and Pilates instructor whose practice is rooted in her motto: FLO Wellness – For Love Of Wellness. With a passion for holistic healing and movement, Flo empowers individuals to create sustainable, whole-person wellness from the inside out. A graduate of Georgetown University’s Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate Program, Flo is trained in wellness-oriented coaching, the psychology of behavior change, chronic disease fundamentals, and mindfulness-based practices. Her work is grounded in cura personalis—Georgetown’s guiding value of caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. At The Healing Collective, Flo enhances the therapeutic experience by offering wellness coaching that helps clients integrate mental, physical, and lifestyle shifts. Meet Phillip

Phillip J. Lewis, BCD, JD, LICSW

Phillip practices social justice counseling and works as a sex therapist committed to the emotional and physical healing of individuals and communities. He employs a humanistic approach to help individuals better understand themselves, find meaning in their life experiences, and move toward emotional reconciliation. Phillip believes that therapy can be a vital part of the healing journey, though it does not define the entirety of that journey. His style is solution-focused and rooted in brief, evidence-based mental health services that support both personal and professional growth. The goal is to help individuals navigate the world as the person they aspire to become, rather than feeling confined by difficult or traumatic experiences. Drawing from clinical social work, sexology, and law, Phillip’s practice centers on equity, trauma-informed care, and culturally grounded treatment that challenges harmful stereotypes. His work also connects clinical care with community engagement and policy awareness, guided by the belief that healing encompasses both personal and social dimensions. Additionally, Phillip is a member of the armed forces, an educator, and a retreat facilitator who helps create spaces where people of color can show up fully, feel deeply, and heal in community.

Tenaya Watson, Phd

Dr. Watson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, seasoned clinician, and military veteran who provides supervision and advisement for mental health services at The Healing Collective. Her career spans roles such as Special Forces Psychologist and Director of Psychological Health. She brings a high standard of clinical excellence to the practice, ensuring our mental health services are grounded in cutting-edge, evidence-based, and resolution-focused approaches. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to culturally competent, trauma-informed care.
